AW18 Prada ‘Pistachio’ Linea Rossa Neon Green Puffer Jacket

Miuccia Prada’s Autumn 2018 collection brought intrusive palettes, signature textiles and grail-worthy pieces. Clashing vibrant hues against the label’s signature black gabardine looks, Prada would put emphasis on abstract patterning and futuristic logos. Speaking of a logo-mania, we saw the introduction of linea rossa sports wear in the collection’s second half, before camp collars absorbed the runway, dawning split flame graphics and layered button ups. In an ambitious stroke, Miuccia Prada would reveal one of her most chaotic, yet cohesive collections to date.

 

Debuting in the Autumn of 2018, this jacket has garnered mass notoriety across all archive fashion circles. Debuting on the back of A$AP Rocky in a shoot with renowned photographer Aiden Cullen just weeks before the Prada collection released, headlines would arise as Kanye West was also seen in the alternate neon orange colour way days afterwards. Soaked in vibrant hues, the marketing campaign would solidify itself in pop-culture history as an incredibly moment of stylistic influence, selling out instantly as a result. The jacket shown is adorned with a neon green hue, contrasted with the iconic red Linea Rossa logo, down fill exterior and zippered welt pockets. Tagged as a size medium, it’s in great condition, with light markings throughout.
