Rick Owens is one of few American born designers shaping contemporary arts through a distorted, blossoming lens. Based in Paris, Owens is primarily known for his black-centric style, brutalist mentality and of course, menswear fashion design. Head of his paragon namesake, many hail the designer for his avant-garde mentality and disregard for the socially acceptable. Rick Owens is a paramount in footwear design and fuels the urge to question; “Why?” atop the runway. He refuses to backdown from a stylistic approach, leading the masses through a shift in couture at the grips of his will. Owens will go down as a pioneer in a miscellany of niches and yet persists without intent to slow. He flourishes in a unique, intriguing way - tempting those around him to simply open their minds to the unknown.
Debuting in the Autumn of 2015, this “blackety black” wash denim features silver Aircut hardware. Running in an asymmetric fashion towards the inner hem, two fastening buttons can be released to exaggerate the zippered body. Paneling reinforces the right hand pocket while an additional compartment is overlayed. A synching mechanism is found on the underside, allowing for adjustable sizing. Tagged as a large, fitting a 36-34 waist and 30 inch inseam, in great condition throughout.
