Kris Van Assche’s Fall 2017 collection may have reinvented the suit and tie, but many would agree the showing was a precursor to the final five looks. Enlisting Dan Witz, an American street artist who specializes in photorealistic paintings, together the two would release a small collaborative collection, featuring Witz’s work. His oil based illustrations would coat the external of blazers, slim cut trousers, anoraks, and most notably, a bomber jacket. Today, the effort is hailed as a height of the Dior maison, produced in extremely small quantities.
Sporting the famed moshpit painting, this bomber jacket is comprised of a nylon exterior and silk liner. Asymmetric zippers clasp either welt pocket in a metallic fashion and are accented by striped detailing. The graphic is fluent, seamlessly revolving around the jacket with compliment to the boxy shape. Tagged as a 50, fitting a size large in pristine condition throughout.
