SS05 Dolce & Gabbana ‘Utility’ Multi-Pocket Corduroy Cargo Pants

Dolce & Gabbana’s step into the new millennia was refreshing by all accounts. Introducing silhouettes akin to utility, the label immersed themselves under a militaristic persona. Popularized by designers like Helmut Lang, the tactical revolt provided a new take on utilitarian traditions. Incorporating luxury furs and expert tailoring, founders Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce unapologetically pushed the envelope, straying far from their classic Italian roots. In the heat of the anti-fashion movement, experiment was encouraged and Gabbana embraced it. Using their power as an established maison, the duo was able to create timeless staples, regarded as the brand’s “golden era”.

 

Debuting in the Spring of 2005, these corduroy bottoms exemplify Dolce & Gabbana’s unique, militaristic design philosophy. In a heavyweight tan base, they feature an assortment of button-clasp cargo pockets, all of which vary in shape and size. Accented with D&G’s signature heavy weight metallic hardware and a wide cut, they’re in pristine condition throughout, fitting a size 32x29.
