SS17 Prada ‘Radar’ Pixelated Ripstop Graphic Nylon Vest

Miuccia Prada’s Spring 2017 collection was "More human, more simple, more real... the desire for reality, humanity and simpleness." Blending playful Earth tones with utilitarian silhouettes, above all else the showing demonstrated a distinct understanding of patterning. Pushing emphasis towards outwear, the designer worked with predominantly nylon textiles, coated with highly unique prints and metallic hardware. Knitwear worked as a massive cornerstone in the collection as well, often clashing against overcoats and eccentrics bottoms to pair. The showing was an elaborate work, debuting a series of eccentric yet wildly intricate garments.

 

As a standout of the collection, this ripstop vest features a digitized print throughout. In reference to traditional weather radars, the neon hues leech from the black nylon base. A zipper accents the underside, expanding from the collar towards the middle back, in pair with a cinching hem and reinforced seams. Tagged as a size small, in pristine condition throughout.
